1.  Systemic wrongdoing  (if reasonably suspected) should be investigated by SOMEBODY in authority

We encourage the NC DMV License and Theft Bureau to investigate further

This agency has helped us by citing FA via their department's Form LT-609.
They have further helped us by asking their Inspector Love to interview FA management.
They have been helpful by encouraging FA to provide us with some documents previously.withheld from us.

However, FA made several misrepresentations to Inspector Love which may have obstructed his efforts.  DMV Inspector's Meeting with FA   Because we believe that FA materially obstructed their efforts, we encourage the NC DMV License and Theft Bureau to investigate further.

We encourage the NC AG Office of Consumer Protection to investigate further

The "Consumer Protection" sign on the AG's door implies that once wrongdoing is identified, remedial investigative work would be in order.   We've taken a lot of time and resources to provide what we believe to be clear evidence of wrongdoing to the AG's office.   We're willing to help further if requested.

If systemic wrongdoing is found, other similarly-targeted FA customers should be REIMBURSED

Other FA customers may be entitled to the return of money unfairly taken from them in the same or similar manner by Fred Anderson Toyota in the past.   We would hope that the investigating authority would require FA to make those persons whole?

If systemic wrongdoing is found, FA should no longer be a NC State Safety Inspection station

 This would seem to be obvious on its face.

2.  Systemic wrongdoing (if any) has (supposedly) already been investigated by "Toyota" management

We have been told a number of times and in a number of ways that "Toyota" has investigated our complaint.   The NC Attorney General has asked for ALL documents related to My Owner's service experience at FA.   No information from as many as five investigations has been provided to us or to the NC Attorney General.   Outlined below are some of the investigations, inquiries, reviews, etc that we've been told exist.

Fred Anderson Toyota, Raleigh --- has supposedly already investigated

During a phone call with us on March 05, 2020, FA's General Manager Sean Mehaffey promised us that he would investigate her concerns and get back to us.
        He never did get back to us about this matter.

 On March 02, 2021 Southeast Toyota Distributors' Manager of Customer Relations Karen Schmitt explained to us in an email that "General Manager, Sean Mehaffey, has conducted an investigation."
           Neither we nor the NC Attorney General's office have received any evidence of that "investigation".

Anderson Automotive Group --- has supposedly already investigated 

Michael Anderson, CEO of the Anderson Automotive Group should want to know how FA's wrongdoing is putting his other dealerships in jeopardy.   We assume that FA General Manager, Sean Mehaffey has discussed this matter with Mr. Anderson.  
         That group's customer relations person (Leigh LaBarbera) suggested in an email chain that if My Owner would agree that the matter was "resolved"
         then her money would be returned.   Obviously, the matter is NOT resolved and the money was not returned.   We view this as more obstruction.

Toyota Motor Sales (Plano, Texas) --- has supposedly already investigated 

The CEC at Plano, Texas depends on others to do their investigative work.  We were told that two investigations would be undertaken.  
         Nothing came of our efforts with these people.   They continued to "refer" the matter back to FA who in turn ignored our concerns.

Southeast Toyota Distributors (Deerfield Beach, Florida) --- has supposedly already investigated

As explained elsewhere on this website, FA's Service Director explained to us that Southeast Toyota in the person of Scott Mudlin (DSPM / DFOM) has reviewed My Owner's service experience on Feb 19&20, 2020.
        We were told by FA's Matthew Mann that (as a result of that review) no "Goodwill Settlement" would be made by "Toyota".
